The Ask
To create a series of short form videos to celebrate the launch of NARS Light Reflecting foundation.
What We Did
We casted six highly inspiring individuals who mirrored the NARS ethos of creativity and self-expression — from skin therapists, beauty creatives, to multi-hyphenate artists using their platforms to make change and bring innovative thinking to the beauty space. We held intimate interviews with talent about what they do and their relationship to beauty and makeup. These interviews were interwoven with sensorial product shots and macro skin visuals creating a signature aesthetic approach.
Our Alchemy
We worked closely with the NARS team to strategize the platform-specific social launch of the highly anticipated Light Reflecting foundation on social channels for IG Reels and Tik Tok. IG Reels content was shot in studio, incorporating macro product shots, and superimposed green screen methods to create stunning visuals. We collaborated remotely with TikTok creators to ideate and execute fun, exciting product and narrative driven videos that stayed true to the platform and our creators personal style.
